Meet Arielle

Arielle completed her hatha/ashtanga yoga and meditation training with Mount Madonna Institute through the lineage of Baba Hari Dass, the yogic mentor to Baba Ram Dass. Arielle also obtained 50 hours of Yin yoga teacher training at YogaWorks NorCal, through the lineage of the creators of Yin yoga: Paulie Zink, Sarah Powers, and Paul Grilley. After a soccer injury in high school, Arielle began practicing Pilates (in combination with physical therapy) as a method of strengthening the muscles to support the joints. Arielle is trained in Classical Mat Pilates through Core Pilates NYC. She has over 15 years of personal practice in Classical Pilates, Lagree (megaformer) Pilates, and yoga/Pilates sculpt methods. She plans to complete a comprehensive Pilates training soon.

Arielle is passionate about fusing together the ancient wisdom of traditional yoga, meditation, and spirituality with modern, scientifically peer-reviewed, and medically accurate health and wellness information. She moved from Northern California to New York in 2021 to complete a graduate degree at the Teachers College Spirituality Mind Body Institute, where, as part of her master's thesis, she led a team of graduate students to develop a research proposal to test the positive psychological effects of a yoga practice.

You can practice with Arielle in person weekly at open group classes in Harlem, New York City: Vital Climbing Gym (West Harlem) UpDog Studios, & Harlem Yoga Studio. Arielle also specializes in bringing therapeutic Yin yoga and somatic mindfulness classes and therapeutic groups to corporate offices, mental health, and recovery facilities.
